Welcome to the Suntree/Viera MOPS web page! We are a group of Christian mothers whose mission in life is to raise our children in a way that is pleasing to God. As mothers of preschool-aged children living in a fast-paced world, we realize the need for a fun and active support group to help keep us going strong.  Our schedule fits in-line with the regular school year so that moms who happen to have other children in school will not be torn between two activities. As such, we will be taking the summer off and will resume our meetings in the fall when school starts back up.

We meet together once a month where we may have a guest speaker come to address a certain topic of interest, or we may create a craft of some sort.  The Suntree/Viera group is divided into "tables" which are assigned at the beginning of the year. It's not uncommon for the "table" groups to get together more frequently for a visit to the park, a get together at one's home, or even a girl's night out (and who doesn't need that?!).

Recess: Strengthening the relationship with your children
Photo 101: Preserving memories that will last a lifetime
Social Studies: How to raise grateful children
Chemistry 101: Marriage relationship enrichment
Physics: Balancing the forces against you

We are always happy to have new MOPS to join our group, so come check us out and give us a shot.  Our director for the 2010 school year is Christie Hunt, and she would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.  We hope you will come join us!  If you're already a member of the Suntree/Viera group, then enjoy the summer!  Momology school starts in the fall!!
